This is a blog about buying, building and using a 2002 Mitsubishi Delica van into a comfortable camper for travelling around Australia. A pretty simple task? Maybe not.

We’re Scott and Rosie. We live in Canberra, we’re public servants and we’ve never done anything like this before. Scott’s biggest build is a homemade cat veranda that had three or four wooden components with rope wrapped around them. Rosie’s biggest build is a flat-pack bookcase she helped Scott with. We should be able to muddle through though, with the help of Youtube videos, Reddit communities and some good old-fashioned swearing.
